US Vogue Distances Itself From Terry Richardson

Infamous photographer Terry Richardson has once again been accused of sexual harassment, reported The Independent.

The photographer, who has previously been accused of abuse by models including Rie Rasmussen, Liskula Cohen and Jamie Peck, allegedly sent model Emma Appleton a message saying: “If I can f**k you I will book you for a.shoot for Vogue in NY[sic]”

A Richardson representative said the text is fake but Appleton believes it is authentic, though she acknowledged that it could have been sent from a Facebook account impersonating Richardson.

US Vogue has now distanced itself from the photographer, telling US Magazine: “The last assignment Terry Richardson had for US Vogue appeared in the July 2010 issue and we have no plans to work with him in the future.”

A representative has told The Independent: “Terry Richardson did NOT reach out to this woman. It was sent from a Facebook page that is fake. Terry has no knowledge of who sent this.

“Mr. Richardson has retained online forensic expert Theo Yedinsky to determine the actual origin of the faked posting.”
